Duration

The Kiwibot U Startup Program is a fixed-term job opportunity with a duration between 3 and 6 months that can teach young Colombian talent how to successfully implement a last mile delivery solution while having the opportunity to work in a tech-startup.

Basics

You will get the chance to receive intense training in the U.S. ; we cover your flight tickets, accommodations, and travel insurance. We also provide you with food asssistance during your stay in the U.S.

Location

The specific city where you will be placed will depend on the operational availability at the time. However, rest assured that you will receive advanced notification.

Open positions

Become a part of this program by applying either as an Operations Coordinator or a Maintenance Technician.

Program Stages

1. Introduction

Introduction to Kiwibot and training (1-3 weeks).

2. Training

On-field intensive training (15-20 weeks).

3. Experience

Experience debriefing (1-3 weeks).

4. Time off

Time off (according to Colombian labor law).

Junior Maintenance Engineer

Requirements

•A valid visa for entry into the United States is required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English at a proficient level.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred, but not required.
• Completion of a COVID-19 vaccination program is mandatory.
• Must be available to travel immediately.
• Mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic knowledge is required.

Daily training

• Ensure that the robot fleet is functioning properly prior to operation.
• Provide technical support in the field for the robot fleet.
• Maintain an updated inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
• Assist with shipping of robots and spare parts as needed.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the zone manager.
• Keep records of maintenance reports for the robot fleet.
• Complete maintenance-related tasks in order of priority.

Operations Analyst

Requirements

• A valid visa for entry into the United States is required.
• Fluent in written and spoken English at a proficient level.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred, but not required.
• Completion of a COVID-19 vaccination program is mandatory.
• Must be available to travel immediately.
• No prior experience or specific professional degree required.

Daily training

• Ensure the robot fleet is prepared and functioning properly.
• Execute initial adoption marketing and growth campaigns.
• Develop engagement activities to increase brand recognition and order volume.
• Provide assistance to the robot fleet in case of any issues.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for our stakeholders.
• Continuously improve launch playbooks to aid in scaling our operations.

You will be on different operational sites, handling our fleet of robots to ensure that emotions are successfully delivered.

What does a day of training look like?

Prepare the robots and make sure they are working well before and after operations.

Do daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

Build a launch plan and budget for each new site you're launching to operationalize a fleet of robots in a matter of weeks.

Continually innovate on launch playbooks to help scale our other cities.

Drive initial adoption of the service through launch marketing campaigns in close coordination with our partners as well as our Central Operations team.

Be an operations point-of-contact for our partner POCs and other stakeholders for tactical actions.

Work cross-functionally with our Operations, Business Development and Engineering tactical teams to streamline processes and tactics.

Have an owner mentality on all performance KPIs for a best-in-class robot delivery service for your site/s.
